Re-Training: During odd-numbered years, Stanford re-trains all faculty and supervisors in sexual harassment prevention.

If you originally completed this training during an even-numbered year, you will receive information the following Spring about re-training.

When the SHARE Title IX, Faculty, Staff and Postdocs Education & Prevention Team launches the faculty and supervisor training program, you will receive a notification from STARS with registration instructions for the course. Contact the SHARE Education Team if you do not receive your notification.

Your STARS notification

The notification will come by email from STARS. You will see “stars-notices@stanford.edu”.

The subject will be "Important: Required Training Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors and Faculty"

This email will contain instructions on how to enroll in the course.

Course Options

The online course is always available. During odd-numbered re-training years, the SHPO also offers a live training option. Enroll in the training of your choice by logging in to STARS.

Depending on your preference, you may choose either of these training programs in the odd-numbered re-training years:

The SHARE Title IX, Faculty, Staff and Postdocs Education & Prevention Team has worked with Get Inclusive, a Vector Solutions Company, to customize this program specifically for Stanford. State law requires you to spend at least two hours on the course.

Live training workshop

(Available only in odd-numbered training years. We are working to re-implement live training workshops in 2025.)

The SHARE Title IX Office presents several lively two-hour workshops with dramatic scenes and interactive discussion focusing on university-relevant scenarios. They are brought to you by Lauren Mayer Productions. Ms. Mayer is a recipient of the Peninsula Community Foundation Art Fund Grant and a five-time winner of the San Francisco Cabaret Gold Award.

Previous courses have been approved for MCLE credit.
